2. Get Preapproved
   Meet with a lender to determine your financial status and get preapproved for a loan.
   
   
3. Consultation
   Determine your needs and wants during a REALTOR consultation.
   
   
4. Search for Homes
   Search for and view potential properties. Review listing details and disclosures.
   
   
5. You’ve Found the House
   Make an offer on the property.
   
   
6. Negotiate Terms
   Sellers may accept, counteroffer, or reject the offer.
   
   
7. Contract Acceptance
   Submit earnest money, review covenants and restrictions, and order title work and survey.
   
   
8. Processing & Underwriting the Loan
   Submit your loan application and supporting documents. Appraisal is ordered.
   
   
9. Inspections & Insurance
   Perform inspections, negotiate repairs, and arrange homeowners insurance.
   
   
10. Final Details
    Complete the final walk-through, review closing figures, transfer utilities, and arrange funds for closing.
    
    
11. Closing
    Close on the property and obtain keys.
